«CHERKASYOBLENERGO» paid a record 1.35 billion UAH in taxes in 2025 and achieved savings in operational costs of over 200 million UAH – the company reviewed the year’s results and identified areas for future development

JSC «CHERKASYOBLENERGO» held an expanded meeting attended by the heads of its directorates and separate divisions, during which experts assessed the performance of various business areas, ranked the separate divisions, and identified risks and strategic directions for the Company’s development in the coming years.

In 2025, the Company fully settled its tax arrears and paid a record amount—1.35 billion UAH—to budgets at all levels. These results were achieved largely thanks to a strong focus on cost optimization and the improvement of production processes. After all, the Company’s staff and management are well aware that the Company’s success is a key component of the region’s stability.

The implementation of modern automated electricity metering systems and systematic inspection efforts also yielded tangible results. The energy company’s staff managed to significantly reduce technical losses in the grids, not only meeting the regulatory target but also achieving savings of approximately 20 million kWh, which amounts to over 200 million UAH and represents the best result in recent years.

The Company completed 100% of its repair program and 136% of its power line right-of-way clearing work. This led to a significant reduction in the System Average Interruption Duration Index (SAIDI), resulting in fewer outages due to emergency damage and more reliable electricity distribution to homes and businesses.

In 2025, the Company and its subsidiaries provided 2,630 services for connecting customers to the power grid, which included the construction of over 60 km of 0.4–10 kV power lines, the installation of 30 new transformer substations, and the reconstruction of existing ones, including the replacement of 67 power transformers with more powerful ones.

Vadym Yanenko, Acting CEO of JSC «CHERKASYOBLENERGO» emphasized: «Despite the war and a truly difficult winter, we are repairing power grids, expanding our services, and improving technical processes challenges call for action, and we are taking it».

Interaction with the Company’s customers is also an extremely important component. That is why, in 2025, the Customer Service Center (CSC) was launched, operating on a «one-stop shop» principle. Additionally, CSC offices are currently being established in branches so that every customer can receive high-quality service in a format that is convenient for them, without wasting unnecessary time. The launch of the «Customer’s Personal Account» and the expansion of online services for submitting meter readings minimize the need for customers to visit in person and significantly simplify their interactions with the Company.
